Who to thank?
Organizers of bridal showers, bachelorette and bachelor parties, and your wedding ceremony and reception; bridesmaids and groomsmen; family members and friends.

Does it count if I send a thank-you note by email?
No. You can always send an email message in which you thank someone for something. However, this does not count as a real thank you note. A real thank you note is written on paper and is delivered in an envelope.

Does this mean I have to write every thank you note on paper?
Yes. Every gift deserves a handwritten thank you written on appropriate stationery.

What if I am too busy to write thank you notes?
The gift-giver or person who helped with any part of your wedding was also busy. The reason thank you notes are so meaningful is because they do require time and effort, and the fact that you are busy makes your note all the more important.

Can I save time by buying a preprinted cards with the words already on it and just sign our names?
No. Pre-printed cards with verses do not portray your appreciation and do not offer personalized comments of appreciation.

When is it too late to write a note?
It is never too late to write a thank you note. Generally, people understand newlyweds are busy setting up a household and, because they know you so well, your thank you note will be acknowledged graciously even though tardy in arrival.

Is it solely the bride’s responsibility to send out thank you notes for wedding gifts?
No. The bride responds solely for gifts received by her at parties hosted for her only. For wedding gifts, Thanx on Time will ensure that the thank you note is signed by either the bride or groom when one or the other is mentioned by name in the note or include both the names of the bride and groom.
